iTechLCD’s FOP8400HB, 8.4 (8) Inch High Bright LED Open Frame Monitor is the smallest of the sunlight readable monitor series. This monitor has a 4:3 aspect ratio for viewing and has a screen bright enough to endure the elements of the sun.

How bright of a screen do you need to have to be considered sunlight readable? The 8 inch high bright monitor is rated at 1,000 nits, which is perfect for outdoor applications and bright enough to display clearly when placed in an outdoor environment.

Does this industrial open frame monitor leave a big footprint? The 8.4 inch high bright monitor is extremely thin and lightweight, but designed with all industrial grade parts and components to ensure the durability of the unit overall.
