Why are two models needed for the FOP1500HB touch monitor?  Two models are required to help differentiate the types of touch interfaces available.  The first model being FOP1500HB-SAW-S, 15” high bright SAW serial touch LED open frame monitor and the second model being FOP1500HB-SAW-U, 15 inch high bright SAW USB touch LED open frame monitor.

What typical applications is a 15” SAW touch screen used for?  There are a wide variety of uses that the FOP1500HB-SAW-S can be implemented into, including applications that might be prone to vandalism, industrial controls, Kiosks, outdoor control panels, photo booths, instrumentation control displays to pretty much any outdoor application that requires a touch screen monitor that is bright enough to fight the elements of the sun.
