A substantial difference between an LED backlit touch screen monitor and a CCFL backlit monitor would be the brightness.  The 19” SAW touch screen LED monitor is rated at 350 nits brightness, which is about 100 nits brighter than a typical CCFL touch screen monitor.  This added brightness provides more versatility for the touch screen monitor and the open frame becomes more equipped to handle brighter environments with more ambient lighting.  This monitor is equipped to handle both industrial and commercial applications that need to integrate a 19” open frame touch screen.  This touch monitor is great for applications that require a larger than typical screen size.
