The FOP2200-SAW-U, 22 Inch Wide Screen Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) Touch Screen LCD Open Frame Monitor comes with two available touch interfaces to accommodate the needs of various applications.

What are the two types of touch interfaces for the 22” industrial monitor?  Unlike, the 4:3 aspect ratio monitors, the 16:9 wide aspect industrial touch screen monitor comes with 2 available touch interfaces at once.  The touch monitor comes with both a USB and RS232 serial touch interface available on the unit.  The reason being is that there is adequate real estate to accommodate both touch interfaces. 

Will this 22” industrial touch screen monitor be adequate for my applications?  With a brightness rating of 240 nits, this touch monitor is very well equipped for indoor applications and some outdoor applications provided that there is some shading to help the unit shine brighter.
